Together with Theodore Gilbert, he designed and built the Smith & Gilbert Organ at St. Cecilia Parish, Boston. This organ has been called “Cavaillé-Coll-esque” by the Boston Music Intelligencer.

The Saint Cecilia Choir has been featured on the radio program Sounds from the Spires hosted by Dr. Jennifer Pascual, Music Director of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. They have also appeared on WCRB radio and have sung the National Anthem at Fenway Park.
