Thank you for your interest in proposing an activity or program that you hope will enhance parish life at Saint Cecilia. In all that we do, be it in the church, the classroom, the Parish Hall, or at a location away from Belvidere Street, we aim always to keep the Gospel at the center of our activities and to be one in mind and heart with the fundamental beliefs and teachings of the Catholic Church.
It will be helpful if you could take a few minutes to share with us what you propose, how you hope it will enhance our common discipleship, and other more practical matters. The pastor, the parish staff, and the Parish Pastoral Council will review your proposal and you can expect to receive a response from someone in two weeks’ time. I. Please provide a detailed description of your proposal.
II. Please say a few words about how your proposal connects to the mission of the Church.
III. Please share with us the specific details of your plan: Who will implement the project? What materials will be used? What is your timeline?
IV. Please tell us what resources and support you will need. This can include but is not limited to: staff support; materials; ideal meeting space; plan for refreshments; financial support (for stipend or honorarium, refreshments, etc.); books (for an author event or book group); a staff partner for ongoing support; and your marketing plan (parish bulletin; The Pilot; bulletins of local parishes; The Boston Courant; The Back Bay Patch; The Back Bay Sun).
